This time the sliders have been moved to the right place and near ideal conditions have been reached. The ‘Next Scenario’ button is active and the trainee can go on and try the second scenario.

 The simulation has forced the trainee to think through the problem and adjust the simulation to the situation.  In the process they have learned about the conditions required in a bearing for long running life and the behaviors they need to personally adopt to maximise the bearing’s chance for a long, healthy trouble-free life.  The trainee leaves the game a much more knowledgeable person.
